Our Vision

To evidence the transforming power of the Gospel in individual lives, families, work-places,

and churches throughout the Augusta area. This would be seen through Biblical relationships

with pastors, godly families, and healthy churches.

Our Purpose

To awaken each student to the supremacy of God in all things; to help facilitate an in-depth application of God's Word in each life; and to assist in preparing him or her to serve the Lord Jesus Christ to the Glory of God.

Our Distinctives

  • ASBS is committed to the authority of the Bible, which we believe to be the inerrant and inspired Work of God.
  • ASBS faculty have at least a Masters of Divinity Degree.
  • ASBS desires to give individual, practical attention and encouragement to men and women in their relationships and ministries as well as to pastors and ministers.
  • ASBS offers a Certificate or a Diploma (45 quarter hours); two years of college or an Associate of arts degree in Biblical Studies (90 quarter hours); and one year Graduate School or Seminary (48 quarter hours). A college degree is a prerequisite for entry into the graduate program.
  • ASBS operates on a quarter system, consisting of ten weeks plus a final exam week each quarter.
  • ASBS offers affordable classes based upon your particular program of study.
  • ASBS is chartered in the State of Georgia, operates under tax exempt status, and is recogniized by the US Department of Education.
